Easy DIY Valentines Day crafts and activities to do with your toddler
We love a good themed activity in this house. St. Valentines Day provides a great opportunity to theme our activities with a little extra love. This year we have spent the entire week leading up to Valentines Day trying new Crafts and Activities with items from around the house. These activities kept our toddler engaged for hours… and best part we purchased nothing! Below are our favorite results!
Valentines Day Soup: Take themed items, separate into containers place in a larger container with a mixing spoon and let your toddlers imagination do the rest!
2. Heart Binoculars: Take a clean paper towel roll, cut in half, shape, paint and tape! Let your toddler enjoy. Two Toilet Paper rolls will work as well.
3. Heart Clips: Take heart shaped items (or create them), clip clothespins or chip clips to them and let toddler take them on and off. You can add an element of pattern work if you decide to paint or glue a shape to the clips!
4. Sensory Bin and Shape Sort/Match: Find themed items from aroun the house. Mix in container. Make a paper matching page and demonstrate for toddler. Let the fun being!
