7 registry items you will use years after your wedding
Engagement season is coming! When creating your registry think ahead for storage space, what your enjoy, time you have to use it and if you think you will love using it. So many people register for things that they think they should… but then they never use. We have 7 Registry items from our shower and wedding that we still use… and often!
1. Serving Trays: I was given a few as gifts and I purchased a few myself. We used them for our desert table at our wedding… and let me tell you I have used them so many times! Baby shower hostest with the mostest, thanksgiving desserts, superbowl appetizers, daughters 1st birthday party, mothers day brunch.. the list goes on! I event lend them out on occasion. These are not a set… but I use them together.
2. World Travels Map: Traveling is something we love to do. Near or far and we track our travels with a map! We have a map with cardboard behind it and we pin where was have visited.
3. Robot Vacuum: You’ll see a rhoomba or other magical robot cleaners pop up in my posts throughout my blog, Because I genuinely believe they have been some of the best purchases I’ve made and gifts I have ever received. We were given a window cleaning robot, I purchased a robot vacuum before our shower to help maintain pet hair daily. Let. Me. Tell. You… we still use these bad boys daily. We have widened our fleet of magical little cleaners and now have a floor mop and wall duster for our foyer with high ceilings.
4. Kitchen Aid: Now I am not a baker… being honest here. However, kitchen aid has the most amazing attachments and we get our use out of this beautiful piece of kitchen appliance! I am an avid gardener and when the produce is doing well we get creative with uses… the attachments help make the process of prep a breeze!
5. Platter: We registered for our Turkey Platter and it happened to be our first gift we opened. Every event (Especially thanksgiving!) we think about the family who gave it to us. Reach out and touch base… it’s a wonderful reason to touch base and say hello. Think about what is something your family uses at gatherings that you want to continue in your new life together and register for one!
6. Instant Pot: We love our instant pot and it has saved me from a lot of forgot to take the chicken out of the freezer nights. You can cook straight from frozen! Every things cooks quickly and evenly and we love it! It also can replace many other appliances so it cuts down on space!
7. A nice knife set: Our final of 7 Registry Items! You will use a knife set more often than you think when prepping meals and hosting gatherings! We registered for a knife set and we sure love it! Knives are also a big ticket item so I recommend putting a contribution option on the registry.
Make the registry that is best for you! These are our top favorite 7 registry items and we are so grateful to have received them! Happy planning!
